Is it normal for the machine to shake and make noise while kneading?
Slight shaking and low humming are normal, as the motor drives the kneading blade to mix the dough.
Severe shaking or loud, unusual noise is not normal and can be fixed by checking these points:
- Uneven dough consistency: A too-dry or too-stiff dough strains the motor, causing excess vibration. Adjust your liquid-to-flour ratio.
- Unstable placement: Ensure the machine is sitting on a flat, level surface. A wobbly base will amplify shaking.
- Incorrect blade installation: Check that the kneading blade is securely locked into place. A loose blade will rattle and vibrate excessively.
